If you’re a gamer, change the Processor Mode to Maximum Performance. Keeping it at Optimized will make your Shield TV slightly slower, but considerably quieter overall. However, the device will run hotter, which will cause the fan to kick in more often. Optimized will throttle the CPU’s speed so it can strike a balance between speed and temperature.
